Non-Profit Organization For Women Of African Ancestry

Supporting Black women professionals and students to succeed and thrive in the California community college system.

About Us

Nandi was resilient, a warrior and a devoted leader. She was a Queen and the mother of King Shaka Zulu. Queen Nandi believed in the power of unity and the concept of We are the same.

Nandi is comprised of a professional network of women of African ancestry who serve to inspire, support, nurture, mentor, and empower community college women students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

Collective Empowerment

Nandi fosters an environment of collective empowerment, offering support and networking opportunities. Through dynamic engagement, we acknowledge the complexities of our identities as Black women navigating systems shaped by anti-blackness and patriarchy.
